From AWN News: Medyavision Dreams Up Live-Action Clementine with Rhythm + Hues
Turkey's Medyavision has acquired the rights to produce a live-action feature, based on the French animated TV series, CLEMENTINE, according to VARIETY. The company has been working on this deal for three years and anticipates the English-languaged film's budget to be $80 million-$100 million, making it the most expensive film in Turkish history. The story will combine the 39 episodes of the series into one story. The toon followed the escapades of a paralyzed girl and her cat as they travel to fantastical worlds in her dreams. Medyavision will team with Rhythm + Hues on the visual effects.
it sure is, and i have talked to them today. they haven't confirmed it officially, but they told me that this had been discussed during Cannes and they would announce something soon :)
