From AWN News: Medyavision Dreams Up Live-Action Clementine with Rhythm + Hues
Turkey's Medyavision has acquired the rights to produce a live-action feature, based on the French animated TV series, CLEMENTINE, according to VARIETY. The company has been working on this deal for three years and anticipates the English-languaged film's budget to be $80 million-$100 million, making it the most expensive film in Turkish history. The story will combine the 39 episodes of the series into one story. The toon followed the escapades of a paralyzed girl and her cat as they travel to fantastical worlds in her dreams. Medyavision will team with Rhythm + Hues on the visual effects.
It's been almost a year, and I haven't been checking on Oomph for a long time. I am sorry I left the blog without any updates and new posts, and I am very grateful to those of you who have sent emails demanding more animation, games, etc.
Finally, I am back with both of my animation related blogs; Oomph and CizgiCell. There will be few changes in the blogs in a few weeks, but our traditional posts and Weekly Favorites will go on as you wish :) I will do my best to post daily, and update the favorites weekly as usual.
