Contents Under Pressure
New video game from Atari and The Collective, Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, is a seven-year hardwork for Mark Ecko, who is the founder of Ecko Unltd. He has been preparing the game with a well-gathered team, and is willing to define a new genre in video game world. Getting Up focuses on urban life, presenting a journey from graffities to freedom of expression. As the game seems to be a potential for a hit in all gaming platforms, movie rights is acquired by MTV Films.Ecko expressed his feelings about the agreement as follows:"When I first began working on GETTING UP seven years ago, I wanted to create a storyline that provided a rare look inside of one of the most influential, yet often overlooked, artistic movements in recent history. Today, graffiti is a global cultural phenomenon and few understand its impact better than MTV, pioneers in its use as a motion graphics tool nearly two decades ago. I am delighted to have the ability to bring the depth of our story to life on film and look forward to working with the great team MTV has assembled."
